This notice explains what happens to the details you send us through the contact form on ninekeys.co.za, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

NineKeys (Pty) Ltd, a software studio in South Africa. You can reach us at admin@ninekeys.co.za.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form: your name, email address, company (if you give one), what you need, your budget band and your message. To stop spam, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address with the times you sent a message. The hash can't be turned back into your IP address.

Why

To reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like to go ahead, to prepare a proposal. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details with anyone.

Where it goes

The form sends your enquiry as an email to admin@ninekeys.co.za, through our web host's mail server. Nothing else is stored on the website.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, and delete them when you ask. The spam-prevention records are deleted after about an hour.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies or analytics. If a message fails to send, your browser keeps a copy of what you typed for that tab only, so you don't have to type it again. It's cleared once your message goes through.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing admin@ninekeys.co.za. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
